WELCOME TO CELTIC ARTS CENTER

THE CELTIC ARTS CENTER OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA’S BLOG FOR CELTIC NATIONS MAGAZINE

An Claidheamh Soluis – The Celtic Arts Center! Your connection with the Celtic World! Come join in our festivities and help keep the culture alive!
This is how our past schedule used to be, and what we hope to host once more when COVID restrictions are lifted in Southern California:
Every Monday night the Celtic Arts Center offers a free introductory Irish language workshop for complete beginners that starts at 7PM. There is also an intermediate Irish language workshop that meets at the same time and works on reading comprehension, vocabulary building, and pronunciation. At 8PM there are free Irish céilí dance workshops for both beginner and intermediate level students. And those are followed by the Center’s famous traditional music seisiún where singers and musicians from all across the L.A. area gather to play and share their love for the music of the Celts. There is no admission fee for performers or audience members and everyone is welcome to participate or just listen and watch. You may also hear the recitation of a Celtic-themed poem or even a joke told in Irish! The Center has seen many of its young member traditional Celtic musicians and performers grow into accomplished performers who successfully tour and compete both in the U.S. and internationally.
